A short rest looking out over the landscape towards Ladram Bay and across to Dartmoor was followed by a walk around the edge of the moor back to the cars.
Whilst there was no chirring of nightjars to disturb the evening quiet, this sound was replaced by the low murmur of group members eagerly catching up on each other’s news, advice and experiences.
The walk ended at 21.15 hours and as the evening was so absorbing refreshments taken for the walk were consumed back at home.
